We work with you to find out what you want from your bathroom and take the time to properly understand your vision. With our expertise and experience, we can advise on layout and the best use of floor space, as well as fittings and finishes.
Once we have a design you’re happy with, we always set a clear start and finish times for construction. We keep you informed every step of the way and always prioritise communication.
We work with a highly experienced and qualified team of contractors, tradespeople and suppliers to ensure the best workmanship and materials for every job. And because we offer complete turnkey renovation and extension services, we can manage every aspect of the work from start to finish.
The initial consultation will help us understand the scope of the bathroom renovation project. For a full renovation, we will work with you to find out exactly what’s included in your dream bathroom. For repairs or minor renovations, we will discuss the extent of the work and inspect the specific areas.
Once we have a sense of the scope of the project and the design parameters, we prepare a detailed job outline with costings to show you exactly how we are going to create and shape your renovation or rectification. We then lock in a time for the construction to begin. A full bathroom renovation usually takes 7 to 14 days depending on size and style.
Before commencing any renovation, we assess whether we’re keeping any of the pipes and plumbing, fixtures, shower screens, basins, taps, vanities, tiles etc. Any areas to be kept are then carefully covered and protected. We then start safely removing old fixtures and fittings, plaster, skirting boards etc. We pride ourselves on keeping a clean and safe worksite ensuring all OH&S standards are adhered to.
Once the removal of the old internal build has been completed and stripped back to framework, we can then start to focus on the carpentry items that will be required. If there are any design rectifications or replacements to the old structure, this is the time to get these done. We then complete the carpentry work by adding any doors, walls, features, windows, bulkheads and any other rectification works.
After all the carpentry works have been doubled-checked and straightened, we are then ready for rough-in. We commission qualified plumbing partners to complete all the necessary gas, hot and cold water services work. All work is completed to all Australian Standards and industry specific guidelines. All our subcontracted partners are fully qualified and insured and provide full compliance certification.
After plumbing has been roughed in, our qualified A-grade electrical partners complete all the necessary wiring work including lights and fans, power points and mounting backing plates. All electrical work is completed to Australian industry standards. All our subcontracted partners are fully qualified and insured and provide full compliance certification. Full costings for electrical subcontracting are highlighted in our initial consultation.
Waterproofing & Tiling
At this stage of the build, everything should be coming together nicely. Once everything has been double-checked, the ceiling, flooring and plastering is installed. Once the sheeting is complete, it’s time to waterproof the wet areas.
Once the waterproofing is complete, we move on to tiling followed by installation of fixtures, cabinetry and the fit-off stage. This is an important stage that requires a high level or workmanship. Each of these final stages is closely monitored throughout to ensure high-quality and long-lasting results.
Final Inspection & Hand Over
At the final inspection and handover stage, we have a walk-through with the client. This allows the client to request any last-minute touch ups or modifications and allows them to check that all work has been completed according to the contract. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and always strive to ensure the client is 100% satisfied.
It’s now time to start enjoying your new bathroom!
